Example of what a STANDARD custom order can look like...

Western Red Cedar comes in a variety of shades and grain variations.

It is an excellent sounding tonewood, nearly as good as Spruce, yet quite inexpensive in comparison.

I am now offering custom "Yocky Juniors" and Teardrops

Yocky Junior
These smaller dulcimers measure about 25" long, 7" wide, 1.5" deep (not including  fingerboard) and are tuned an octave higher than standard dulcimer tunings.

Any and all custom order options available for my standard size dulcimers are also available on the Juniors.

Don't let the size fool you, these are high quality instruments, perfect for traveling, playing along with others or all by yourself.

Yocky Teardrop 36" long, 6 1/4" wide, 2 1/8" deep (not including fingerboard)
For those of you who like the look and sound of more traditional designs, I now offer a teardrop model with a guitar style peghead.  Yocky dulcimers are known for their BIG sound and these are no exception.  Not quite the same as my Hourglass models, but a good blend of Traditional sounding brightness with lots of volume, sustain, and just enough bass to make a good rich tone.
